Cattail Nurse Consulting is led by Brenda Schmidt, a nurse consultant and educator with more than 30 years of experience in long-term care.
As a former director of nursing in both Iowa and Nebraska, Brenda has consulted with more than 70 facilities throughout Iowa and leads a team of professional nurse consultants who are dedicated to helping care facilities succeed.
Brenda has a Masters in Nursing Education and is a Certified Infection Preventionist and a member of the ANA, AANAC, AADNS, APIC and AHCA and holds a seat on the IHCA education committee.
